Straight forward and in plain English
Our warranty – Trying to keep it as simple as possible and as transparent as we can
Firstly, most insurance backed used car warranties are “not worth the paper they are written on” therefore we do not normally use them.
The vehicle will come with:
12 months AA breakdown cover, including home start and national relay.
12 Months AA garage cover for claims up to a maximum of £535.00 (less a £35.00 excess).
In the first 3 months we will cover the cost of repair or replacement of any listed item where the cost exceeds the AA claim limit of £500.
Between 3 and 6 months we will divide the cost of repairs for the listed items with yourself if they exceed the £500 AA limit.
Examples
Repair costing £1000
If it fails within: -
3 months – AA pay £500 towards the cost and we pay the difference.
3 – 6 months – AA pay £500 towards the costs. We pay £250.00 and You pay £250.00.
6 – 12 Months - AA pay £500 towards the cost and you pay £500 (plus the £35.00 excess).
Repair costing £350.00
If it fails within: -
3 months – AA pay £350.00 towards the cost and we pay the excess.
3 – 6 months – AA pay £350.00 – We pay the excess.
6 – 12 Months AA pay £350.00 – You pay the excess (£35.00).

Head gasket
Oil pump
Crankshaft and bearings
Turbo chargers
Inlet and exhaust manifolds
Major oil leaks from crankshaft front or rear seals
Engine oil cooler for leaks (not covered for damage)
Gearbox and Transfer box
Major oil leaks
Bearings and sychros
Shafts and splines failing
Clutch
Mechanical failed parts – broken or snapped.
Does not cover the plate for wear.

Alternator
Starter motor
Window regulators
Door lock actuators
Tailgate actuator and switch

Bearings
Crown wheel and pinion

All other items will be considered on an individual basis taking into consideration the time and distance covered since purchase.
Basic Terms and Conditions
The vehicle will need to be returned to us for the work to be completed (hence the national recovery supplied if the vehicle is not driveable).
Remembering the vehicle is a used vehicle we may look to use good quality used parts during repairs if the repair is an expensive repair – Example should the gearbox fail we would look for a replacement used item of similar or lower age and mileage.

General wear and tear
Damage to tyres and punctures
Windscreen and glass
Door mirror glass
Brake pads and discs – (vehicle will have been supplied with at least 12,000 mile normal life left in the brake pads and discs.)
DPF filters due to lack of use.
Adblue issues due to lack of use or overfilling.
Paintwork
Interior trims or seat material.
Wiper blades
CD or DVD players
Clutch due to wear
